subwriting.com is operated by Subwriting. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what choices you have.
What we collect
Contact form. If you use the form on subwriting.com, we receive your name, email, inquiry type, and message. Submissions are processed by Formspree and delivered to us by email. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry.
Handbook purchases. If you buy The Subwriting Handbook, checkout and payment are handled by Gumroad. Gumroad collects the information required to complete your purchase and deliver your files. We do not receive your payment card details. Gumroad’s privacy policy applies to that transaction: gumroad.com/privacy.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can limit tracking through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
Email. If you email support@subwriting.com, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the contact form to build marketing lists without your consent. We do not ask for more information than we need to run the site and respond to you.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages and email correspondence are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for ordinary business records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent us directly. Email support@subwriting.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
For handbook purchase data held by Gumroad, contact Gumroad directly or use the account tools they provide.
Changes
We may update this policy when our tools or practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do.
